Obstetrics is the specialty of medicine concerned with pregnancy, labor, and the post partum. In addition to routine pregnancies, we specialize in those considered high risk (mothers over the age of thirty-five or with diabetes, to cite some examples). Try our Pregnancy Calculator.
Gynecology deals with the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the female reproductive organs. Included in this category are menstrual irregularities, abnormal bleeding, infections, abdominal pain, and bladder control. Cancer screening and all aspects of family planning (contraception) are also gynecological services that we provide.
Our physicians are experts in adolescent gynecology as well as menopausal management. Patience, understanding, gentleness, and education characterize our adolescent care. Concerns of older women, including hormonal replacement therapy and sexual function are specialties of the practice.
All of our physicians continue to keep abreast of new advances in obstetrics, gynecology, and infertility through continuing medical education programs each year.
