Dr.
Dominick Giuffrida attended
medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic
Medicine, where he also completed a Research Fellowship in
Pharmacology, and graduated in 1990.
Dr. Giuffrida completed his residency for Obstetrics
and Gynecology specialty training at Suburban General
Hospital (now Mercy Suburban Hospital), in 1995.
Dr. Giuffrida is board certified by the American
Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Giuffrida joined Dr. Sansone to establish East
Norriton Women’s Health Care in 1997.
East Norriton Women's Health care was newly renamed Women's
Health Institute to encompass the broad range of services
provided for our patients. In addition to his office
practice, Dr. Giuffrida is trained in Advanced
Robotic Gynecologic Minimally Invasive Surgery. He
initiated the gynecologic robotic program at Phoenixville
Hospital and currently
serves as their Director of Gynecologic Robotic Surgery. Dr Giuffrida serves as a
surgical proctor for Intuitive surgical, the makers of the
DaVinci robot, and has proctored many gynecologic surgeons
in our area. He has performed more than a hundred Robotic
surgeries.
Also Dr Giuffrida was a past
Program Director for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency
Program at Mercy Suburban Hospital.
Dr.
Joann Sansone graduated from Philadelphia College of
Osteopathic Medicine in 1985.
She completed her internship and residency at
Osteopathic Medical Center and Episcopal Hospital in
Philadelphia. Dr.
Sansone is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board
of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Sansone and Dr. Giuffrida established East
Norriton Women’s Health Care in 1997.
Dr
Sansone is trained in advanced Robotic Surgical procedures. In
addition, Dr. Sansone served
as Chairman of the Department for Obstetrics and Gynecology
at
Mercy Suburban Hospital.
Dr.
Grace Adofo
graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New
York in 1983. She completed her residency from UMDMJ
in Newark, New Jersey. Dr. Adofo is board certified by
the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has her
Masters in Public Health from Columbia University.
She
is a Winner
of various patient awards including the Essence Ob/Gyn
Award in 2002 and The Health-Grades
Patients’ Choice Award for
quality of care and expertise as a physician.
Peggy
Toth
received her Nurse Practitioner degree in 1998 from
the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing.
She received her Nursing diploma from Chestnut Hill
Hospital School of Nursing in 1974.
Peggy spent several years as a labor and delivery
nurse at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, PA.
Peggy also has extensive experience in the practice
of general gynecology, preventive health for women, family
planning, management of menopausal symptoms, and cosmetic
laser hair removal. Peggy
joined the staff of ENWHC in 2003.
